Hi guys
I'm probably going to get slammed for posting this,
I've had a quick look over some of the posts and seem a bit confused
about DVD-Shrink. Is this software still working or should I be looking
for something diffeent.

I just got a box set and want to burn them to my laptop, which software should I
be using. Hope Im not stepping on any toes by posting this.

Thanks
Oeano

Typically, you would rip the disks to the HDD using the likes of DVDFab HD Decrypter.

If you wanted them to fit a standard blank DVD, you would use DVD Shrink.

To burn the new disk you would use ImgBurn.

DVD Shrink is an older program that has not been updated for years - but it is still a very good program for shrinking DVD files.

I have downloaded DVDFAB and copied full disc, what is the next thing I have to do.
Also should I use DVD copy or DVD ripper?

Any help would go along way

Thanks

Don't Need Either One. DvdFab Is A Ripper. If the Movie is On The Hard Drive, Download Imgburn and Burn It To a Blank Disc. If You Don't Want To Burn Them To A Blank Disc, Download VLC Player To Watch On Your LapTop.

Also There is A Guide at The Videohelp Link Attar Gave You.

Ok i have tried the copy twice, first time copy movie, then tried full disc. On both occasions the first episode comes in with english audio, but the next two come in with a foreign language, why is this. FYI im trying to put box set of sopranos on to laptop.

In DVDFab, After The Disc Has Finished Scanning, In The Right Hand Box Where It Says AUDIO Uncheck The Non English Languages. Then Rip The Full Disc Again.

Even with no compression (which I usually use) DVD-Shrink is still one of the best. Have you taken a look at DVD ReBuilder?

Try Ripping the Full DVD With DFab To the Hard Drive.
Then Open Those Files With Shrink, Get Rid Of The Unwanted Languages, Even the Ones in The SubPictures and Extras, Then Back-It Up to an ISO to your Hard drive. Then Burn That With Imgburn.
