Verizon saw slower iPhone sales than expected?

article published on 16 February, 2011

Leaked sales data from BGR claim that iPhone 4 sales on Verizon are actually slower than anticipated. BGR posted sales totals from five Apple brick-and-mortar stores including two "very, very prominent" ones, following the first five days of the smartphone's launch on the carrier. While there was huge hype for the launch, there were no lines (or small ones) outside of Apple stores ... [ read the full article ]

Ya becuse data plans suck no matter where you go.....

Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Lets renegotiate them.

No kidding!

Verizon is a jagoff, jerkoff jackass arrogant company that thought they'd sell the Iphone to 30 percent of their customers.

I hate Verizon with a passion and may that company fold and rot in hades for all their shadiness and overpricing.

Its the only option out here, but all around data plans are horrible, it should be 15$ per 1GB of data/voice/text but no they want their lil monopoly with the 3 other big companies...

Pretty much like everyone said, Verizon's prices are no better than AT&T so really there's no difference.

One way they could be more competitive is to lower the price of their unlimited texting option by $5 or $10. Should be pretty easy since texting cost phone companies almost nothing anyway. I don't know why AT&T and Verizon are so stingy with text messaging.

Hey and maybe the slow sales are due to the fact that Apple releases a new iPhone every June. That's what I'm waiting on; see what new features the iPhone5 will. I'd hate to buy one now for it to be outdated in four months....let's try to get it to at least 6 months before it becomes an antique lol.
