Hello everyone, im new here and to the whole dvd burning thing. i recently got the platinum version 3.2.1.0 today and installed it fine, but when i go to the "advanced" field, it wont highlight the option to select files off my hard drive to burn on a dvd. i thought inserting a blank dvd in the drive would help but no luck. if someone could help me out that would be great! thanks.

welcome to AD, unfortunately you'll find that most folks on here don't like DVD X Copy. I've got no problems with it myself, but, what I would advise would be to download DVD Shrink from this site. It's free (and better).
Thern you can burn files from your hard drive no problem.

ok ill try that prog out. i bought platinum because i heard you can take out stuff you dont want, like bonus features or whatnot. i wish i found out about the other prog first instead of paying 80 bux for this one, but ill give it a try. thanks, i appreciate your help.
