Mapquest has released its popular free, turn-by-turn navigation app for Android phones, following its success on iOS. The GPS app has two notable improvements from the iOS version, however. Diversity is essential, since no 2 customers are exactly alike. Everybody has a different taste on what features they want on a said product/software. Good to see that Google allows this on their Marketplace.

I use this on my iPhone since it's superior to the pre-installed Maps App. On my G2 though the default maps app has turn by turn navigation and already gets the job done for me.
