Hey there I'm new :)
I'm trying to copy Toy Story 2 but I got the "cyclic redudancy error." I searched around the forums and found that I'm suppose to use DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip them.
I've this done before to another disc with the same problem and it worked fine when I uploaded them to DVDShrink using "open files."
But this time, I get "Failed to open file 'C:\users\me\Documents\DVDFab\Generic\T2E0NNS1\VIDEO_TS.IFO\' The system cannot find the file specified." when I try to open the files.
What's wrong? :( I learned around here that there's suppose to be an AUDIO_TS.IFO & VIDEO_TS.IFO folder right? And that the VIDEO_TS.IFO contains .BUP, .IFO, .VOB files. This is true with all the earlier discs I've copied except recently. Now when I rip them using DVDFab, it gives me a video clip (which I think is .avi right?), a .idx file, and a .sub file. I have no idea what these are. Is this the reason for DVDSHrink not wanting to open the files?
thanks guys and sorry if I sound like such a noob :P

The ripped files should have been saved to a VIDEO_TS folder.
If it output an AVI file, you selected the wrong option.

To get a simple rip of the source DVD, you select HD Decrypter (the last selection on the main screen) then Full Disc or Main Movie.
