It's the wave of the future -- sell your child's name to the highest bidder for a monthly fee.

We'll soon see names like Pepsi Jones, Sony Williams, Microsoft Wilson and Reebok Davis.

Me, I'm a big Weird Al fan, so I'll just name my firstborn Twenty Seven.

When laws allow unlimited ownership of ideas, it is to a society as iron fusion is to the core of a star.

When verified realities lead us to anger, we must learn to reevaluate our beliefs.

Hmmmmm........How about "Laptop" for a name or "Amazon". How about "Cabinet".

Morons! Agreed that the poor girl is going to go through Hell with that name.

Come on folks. It's not so bad. He did it out of gratitude and because of something meaningful in his life and the change in world history. It's better than those crazy black names now a days. You know what I'm talking about jomanaquin.... Lamontifa....shelarimaquisha.

Some celebrity already named their child Apple. I forget who it is.

One issue, though: surely, isn't the name Facebook trademarked? :) Don't let them get started on the IP implications!

think that was gwenith paltrow (excuse my poor spelling).

i did actually know a cambodian guy called moppy.apparently its his middle name.the name phuc is a very common vietnamese name.I think the people called toilets the john in some countries and thats a common name.the point im trying to make is there are names in several nationallities which sound rude or inappropriate.

custom built gaming pc from early 2010,ps2 with 15 games all original,ps3 500gbs with 5 games all original, yamaha amp and 5.1channel surround sound speakers,46inch sony lcd smart tv.

John is normally a slang word, for the toilet. i worked with a phuc the U is not short like F*ck it a long U and is pronounced like Fook(Austen Powers Gold member poked fun at the two asian chicks Named Fook-yu & Fook-me). and i see nothing wrong with Moppy ant least it wasn't Moby.

Might also be worth pointing out that APPLE was a fruit for centuries before Steve Jobs was around.

Note: I am pre-empting lawyer involvement and claiming fair use policy for the name Steve Jobs in this instance - I neither own nor represent copyright to the terms "Steve Jobs", "Apple" or any of its subsidiaries!
