All I have to say is...
Oh, my god.... Seriously?
But why?

I'm starting think that they are just milking this franchise for all it's worth... Yeah?

Oh, Im sorry... Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?

I'm sorry everyone, it's people like me that will still shell out the money to see this in the theater... I would even pay for the ORIGINAL versions if they screened those.

This will not happen.

The man can't stop messing with the films expect to see even more stupid and pointless added rubbish will makes the original masterpiece a pile of poo. I'm talking about ruining the original ep 4-6, ep 1-3 are already rubbish, 3 is acceptable.

I think jar-jar will be in all the films now and in the later one he turns to the dark side.

Jumping on the 3d bandwagon? Not a bad move i guess, as long as they update ep.4-6. Love those. They need to be freshened up. If they, Lucas Films, did that there might be lightning in a bottle again. Then again I have seen the lack luster re-do from before and I was just wishful thinking/dreaming.

Why does everyone gotta hate? Can't you enjoy them for what they are? I get it, we had a little boy in the first film. You have to start the story somewhere. I'm not crazy over all of the CGI animation either, but I don't see movies like LOTR getting the same treatment as the prequels. (Shakes head)

I thought Ep1 was pretty good, that little kid is pretty good. I don't think I want to see it in 3D though, but I can imagine the racing scenes will be spectacular in 3D.

Peace!

I'll go see Ep's III, IV & V, pass on I, II & VI (maybe see VI)... still greedy bastards none the less, you know it won't end here in re-release, 20 years down the road we will have Jar Jar sticking his tongue in our ears!

@SProdigy
I am totally with you as far as paying for to view the original films. I would even be willing to pay to view the "original" special editions (not the re-re-edited Return of the Jedi crap that was released on dvd AFTER sw: ep lll came out.)

@Gnawnivek
Seriously??? That kid's performance was soooo wooden the character was nicknamed "Mannequin Skywalker". And this was even during filming. His acting was much, much better in "Jingle all the way".

@DDR4life Yeah, I'm with you on seeing the "old" Anakin in the final scene of Jedi. I mean, does he not age in the Vader suit???

Meh...why does this suprise anyone? I for one am sick of the whole franchise at this point and there is little they could do to entice another penny out of me...

Just my $0.02,

In my taste, i think Phantom Menace sucks most of the time, but it have impressive scenes like the fight with Darth Maul and space battle, i'm looking fordward to Episode II and III, don't bash me, is just my opinion.

I agree. If I can look away from the assorted Jar-Jar/Anakin cheese (ie. YIPPPEEEEE) it's an underrated flick IMHO.

I love the special additions minus teen angst anikin being in the end of 6..... a shame the retarded editions suck no matter what....

Copyright infringement is nothing more than civil disobedience to a bad set of laws. Lets renegotiate them.

So what if they are re-releasing all the movies in 3-D I would love too see all of them in 3-D but by the time the 6th comes out I think we will have the 3-D tv in the house common.

The originals were and always will be the best. All this 3D and remastering crap is a bunch of BS. Lukas just trying to suck milk from a dead cow.
