Droid Life has posted a leaked ad from Staples which shows the Wi-Fi-only model of the Motorola Xoom coming on March 27th.
The tablet will have a retail price of $600.
At the leaked price, the Xoom will sell for $100 more than the cheapest iPad 2, which has half the onboard storage at 16GB.

I love when articles use clever words like this to make it seem like the iPad is so much cheaper. What is wrong with saying that the 32GB WiFi XOOM will sell for $600 which is the SAME price as the 32GB WiFi iPad?

No clever wording necessary to point out the facts. There is NO 16GB Xoom, so the cheapest one is $600. Apple offers a $500 model. Consumers like cheaper items, period.
What Moto should do is offer an 8GB model for $400..it's incredibly stupid for them to match Apple's pricing on 32GB models with no base model. I'm sure they could even improve their margins by offering the smaller storage.
You don't EVER take on the market leader with massive built-in loyal following with a product at premium price, especially when trying to break into a market.
I am an Android fan, had the G1 back when it was on Android 1.1 (which sucked) and continue to use all Android devices but Apple has this tablet market locked up until Honeycomb has ALL bugs worked out and a big name company (Amazon anyone?) brings real competitive pricing to the table.
