If the SV boxes expire after 12 months, then is it not a cheaper option to go for satelite sub? as you will get all hd channels, and more channels than cable can supply?

some people need to have a bit of patience, folk are lucky to have these back on, 2 weeks ago you had nothing, never mind missing a few chans, allow them to work on it and get the remaining chans back on, just do a re-scan each day to see what appears

Aye, working the SV6/7 first, getting the chans all back, then combo I think and then the Duo, hopefully they will have something soon, for those boxs, but bear in mind that files need to be tested, checked etc
so its bide yer time and see whats released, but keep re-scanning each day to see what new chans appear.
EDIT - This is SV yer dealing with, not Microsoft or Sony, they never bother to tell anyone anything directly, downtime, srv issues, chan loss etc, never have, so I wont be holding my breath on a exact date for firmware, when its ready and released it will appear here

thanks for the reply/info. they must be still working on it..
keep up the good work guys..the number of channels that are working at the moment is excellent..2 weeks ago im sure most of us sv users thought it was dead...just wait...and im sure more channels will come.
