Samsung has unveiled the 'thinnest tablets ever' today, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1. The tablets are just 8.6mm thin, slightly beating out the iPad 2 which sits at 8.8mm. In regards to weight, the smaller tablet clocks in at 16.6 ounces and its larger brother is 20.9 ounces. The iPad weighs in at 21.28 ounces. all you got to say is maybe they got it right this time let apple release their newest and then come out with a lighter faster tablet for less money now with a droid phone I'll be online all the time ....cell phones that make hot spots on the run are kewl ... now they need to do that with a tablet and Ill dump timewarner all together and get them out of my house... droid wifi to all te toys...

I can't say that I would have much use for this...but I bet my dad would toss out his old laptop for one of these...assuming that it worked with his printer/scanner/fax machine.

My old Toshiba laptop is on its way out. I would definitely see myself going for this tablet alternative. Any alternative to Apple is worth looking into.

This cant be a good year for mr jobs.

Hes in court last week over the real player case
Mac book pros keep randomly locking
The iphone 4 only works when you aherm hold it properly

AND NOW their nice new tablet has been upstaged and droids starting to become a real issue.

I didnt forget how much money they made, actually i made light of their pirate like abilities to extort money from customers see.
