Next Xbox coming in 2015

ZDnet has posted a portfolio image from designer Ben Patterson which says "collaboration with Microsoft's IEB Design group investigating future user experiences and hardware for 2015."
The picture has since been taken down, but not before speculation has run rampant that Microsoft is starting development on the next-generation Xbox, due for release in 2015.

fugly just don't describe it,as for the rest they better not stuff it this time & dam well need to support larger hdd's off the bat no more bs & while i'm on a roll have better support for codec & be able to play a movie avi or whatever directly from a connected usb hdd ,no more of this streaming nonsense if you have to have the pc on for the xbox to play a dam movie you may as well forgo the box & get a graphic card instead & save a stack of dough..end rant

Wish they have it out sooner, my 360 is starting to show some lag, takes forever to close/open the guide button, etc. This time they better include Wi-Fi, Blu-ray, mkv and more format support. Also I'm tired of having to login live just to play a movie from an hdd. Speaking of live, make it free you greedy bastards, PS3 and Wii have always had it for free, what makes Micro$haft so damn special? If it was perfect, maybe, but I've had a few times were my Xbox froze a couple of times right in the middle of the game (playing Reach on live), or xbox live was down for the day, and I have to pay them $60/year for this? Better fix all of these things microsoft or I'm moving to the PS4. Also the mock-up looks like crap.

I doubt it'll look that come come release time. Who else remembers the PS3 boomerang controller that thankfully never came out?

that photo will be one of a dozen or more we will see before anything concrete comes to light. Anyone want to start predicting specs for a console in 2015? 16Gb RAM, 5TB HD, 3 x quad CPU, blu-ray

1) My 360 already has a 1TB drive :)
2) It will NOT have blu-ray!
3) The S 360 already has Wi-fi built in.
4) That's just a CGI rendition, it won't look a thing like that.
5) Remember, it's proprietary so the specs won't need to be that high. 4 GB should be more then enough for any game released in the next 10 years.
6) Expandable, stackable or add on hard drives would be nice.
7) It'll have kinect built in .
8) The world is gonna end in December 2012 so it won't matter anyway.
