Last few minutes cut off from author output??

I captured 2 (45 min) VHS tapes, encoding each into a m2v/ac3 pair. All video is present in the AVI files and the m2v files. Used Tmpgenc Plus to encode.

I used Tmpg DVD Author to make the vob files. I have 2 tracks, each with 8 or so chapter points. The last chapter point should be about 5 minutes worth of video, but stops playing after a few seconds, using PowerDVD to play it before burning by making an image of the video_ts folder with imgtool and mounting as a drive via daemontools.

When I made the vobs, DVD Author reported 4171/4344 GB (approx #'s)on the capacity slider bar. So it doesn't seem like the total output is too big. I even rencoded the 2nd tape with a smaller bitrate and it still cuts off at the same eact spot.

Any ideas on why I can't get the last few minutes of my video into the last vob file?
