Can't get my backup DVD to play on my PS2?

can anyone tell me how to do a backup that will work on my ps2...it works fine on my computer with good quality but will not work on my ps2....I used dvdshrink and dvddecrpt to burn disk.

I would check media compatibility. What media are you using?

Well that will explain why it will play on your computer. Have you tried it on a regular stand alone dvd player? And what media are you using?

Some PS2 can not plat burned DVDs most of them will but some model # will not play them my brother in-laws PS2 will not plat burned movies +r -r it will not even play burned music. You might need a chip to play them or there is a CD you can put in and then put the burned movie in if you don't want to take apart your PS2. I would go to the part of the fourm for games they will know more in there.

Go to http://www.pargeter.eclipse.co.uk/PS2DVD/ if you want to know which disc media to buy and use for your version of ps2.This is important as you could be blaming your discs or hardware or software,but in reality your ps2 is never going to play certain types of media.
