HOW MANY PHONES???
AMEN! Preach it brother! How many phones? Very good and spot on question. But lets run with what the Microsoft dude was saying. If we look at the number it is rather evident there is a big problem in the Redmond camp.
Okay there were 1.5 million download yet only 36,000 registered developers, so 1.4 million have downloaded the Win7 phone SDK and found it useless? Wow! so nearly 99% of all developers that have downloaded it have looked at it and thought it wasn't worth using or what? Of the 36,000 that have downloaded it 60%, or as Microsoft says:
"40% of the fully registered developer population has published an app or game, yet 60% have not yet published. That?s incredibly exciting when you consider the amount of creativity which is still forthcoming."
This is rather interesting, Microsoft is getting excited about vapor ware? They are trying to stir up momentum from hype and speculation. I could be wrong but why does Bernard Madoff come to mind? Might be interesting to know if Madoff is working in Redmond now?
Might be me but looking at the number it seems there are some serious problems with the window 7 phone platform...
