A Chicago public school teacher now faces disciplinary action after she posted a picture of a student and led the way in mocking the girl's hair while others commented. things people should just keep to themselves.... should the teacher be punished? no.....frowned at sure but everyone has their own opinion......but as i said...some things need to just be kept to yourself

You cannot humiliate a 7-year-old girl like that, especially if there's an adult doing it. This is one of the things that is completely unacceptable for a teacher to do.

Where does it say high school? And disciplinary action does not mean termination. She probably received a written warning.

personally i dont think you should be able to upload a pic of anyone without there permission.the teacher uploaded the picture made fun of the girl.the teacher should be punished.we live in a world where we dont have any privacy.

Only in America.

You can argue 'free speech' all you want, but this is an entirely unprofessional thing for that teacher to do as the teacher has a duty to care for all of her pupils. This, evidently, means that she has not done this duty.

The parent should be ashamed of letting her child wear candy in her hair. It doesnt matter if they are in or out of the wrapper. If you send your child to school wearing food you should expect some people to make fun of them.
