Canceled my Netflix account.
I personally don't care for the direction Netflix is headed. The 30 day wait for new release is bogus. Trying to shove streaming down our throats is not my cup of tea.
Was with Netflix since 1996.

I am not normally a fan of shows but I like Mad Men and I am very pleased to see it on streaming. Keep up the good work Netflix!
Some day I hope to never need a DVD player again.

Yeah not sure about the misdirected anger here^^. Netflix was given an ultimatum: Take a 28-day delay window, or don't get new releases, at all. Pretty easy decision.

Streaming is FREE and in addition to their hundreds of thousands of physical DVDs.

Streaming is free if you have a regular account. If not it's $8.00 a month.

Netflix is forced for the huge delay by movie companies for new releases.

If Sony and such want me to buy a new release the time a movie is first released, I'll do so. Isn't that what movie companies are now forcing us to do? Yes, I think so.
Giving Netflix kudos is laughable.

Another thing is last time I checked Netflix only streams 5.1 to the PS3, SONY!
No way I'd want lousy audio with video that looks like crap.

People just don't seem to care where their money is spent.

Streaming is free if you have a $9 subscription. Frankly if you can't afford the extra dollar you shouldn't have a sub in the first place.

The average person does not care about surround sound and does not have the proper equipment to use it even if they knew what it was. (re: 5.1 comments).

No one ever gave "kudos" to Netflix, just expressing confusion at your still misplaced anger at a company that has added 20,000 free titles for streaming and only raised their prices $1 since I've had a sub (2003).

Or is it that a lot of people just like to complain. No netflix does not have video that is exactly up to par of a blueray disc but i dont think the quality is "Horrible". For what you pay most people think netflix is a good deal whether you are streaming or watching actual disc. I dont know what your picture looks like when you watch streaming but if you are not able to get enough bandwith to allow full bars on netflix you might want to check with your internet provider. If you just are not happy with the quality period then you already did the right thing by cancelling your membership. Remember,...... no one is shoving anything down your throat. SMILES.

That's not considered kudos?

You haven't been a customer that long to know what increases Netfix has done through the years.

Exactly, that's why I'm no longer a member. I refuse to have poor quality audio/video.
