I have a Sony DU-120A burner. DVD +RW format.
I have a Norcent a DP-201 player... new

I took a VCR tape and captured it into Video Studio which converted it to an MPG file. I then told the software to burn it to a DVD disk which it did. I think it converted it or something and it took quite a long time from start to finish.

I can play the movie in a couple of other applications on the computer.

I put the disk into the Norcent player connected to the TV and it cannot find the disk .... says no disk. It plays CD's and MP3's fine.

Is this a format issue or do I need to RMA the Norcent Players?

You have a long way to go my friend. Since you seem to be in Europe we may have a format issue. (In America we stupidly call problems or fuckups, "issues.") This is because we're a bunch of idiots. We can't even find Bin Laden
