If you have 2010 firmware on your box you need to update the firmware to the Jan one which is the last released file for the boxes

Make sure you have the 2011 firmware Jan file put that on by null modem method and it should work

im sure they will all be back when who knows just a matter of waiting that is all or go the Sat route lots and lots more channels compared to cable as i have found out

Not getting alibi, watch, dave, sky 1, discovery science and few others are freezing. Even espn seems to be choppy. Do you think I should do factory default and rescan? Also why is it when I leave the box on over night on ssp1 and come back to it next day I have no connection. I have to always put it on standby and on and leave it on bbc1 to get the channel back.

because you dont have a proper connection that is the problem also causing your other channel problems

your comports are not set up correctly you need to sort them what pc os are you using xp vista ??
are you using direct cable or usb adapter
ok first go to start go to my computer righ click and go to properties
go to hardware tab >> device manager go to ports ( COM & LPT )
click on the little + sign and find com port 1 or what ever com port number it says remember the number Communications Port
click on it to highlight it then right click it go to properties then look for port setting tab on top
click that i there you will see
bits per second set this to ======= 115200
data bits ========= 8
parity ============ None
stop bits ========= 1
flow control ====== None
then go to advance button and press ok
next setting in there is
tick the top option MAKE SURE THIS IS TICKED
receiver buffer ======== High (14)
Transmit buffer ======== High (16)
com port number use the tab on the side and change it to 1 if it says in use ignore it and force it to use this
MAKE SURE WHEN YOU DO THESE SETTING YOU PRESS OK ON THE RIGHT TO SAVE ON FIRST BOX
THEN OK ON THE NEXT BOX AS WELL THIS MUST BE DONE
THEN GO BACK INTO THE DEVICE MANAGER AND CHECK YOUR SETTING TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE CORRECT

what do you mean by proper connection, I didn't have this problem before kv went down, so the prob must be on the server side.

Hi,yes checked the Ethernet cable connected to box scan a few times now the port isint flasin like before on back of the box? does that meant serve down? its was workin great uptill other week thanks for your its doin me head in now lol
