Would anyone provide info on DVD-R printable surface.

Which one is print to the hub and which one in print to the ring, for both silver and white.

How they are realiable compare to non-printable shining/silver/mate surface.

Hi rayboy,

I can't say to much for other media because I have not tried it all. I know that the Ritek white printable DVD-R work very well and look nice after the r200 treatment. I currently use Prodisc either the White or Silver Printable. The white are printable to the hub and the silver are printable to the stack ring. Both look VERY nice. I like the white for printing something that has a lot of white on it. The silver look good for most other applications and have a stained glass effect (some see this as a problem) that I think is really cool.
As far as reliability is concerned, I don't think there is really a difference, as long as you use quality media.
If I were you I would do a search for more info on the site about the r200 and the results people have had with different brands of media.
