The latest data from the NPD Group confirms that PC sales are struggling, but the firm says blaming the Apple iPad is the wrong way to go. Of consumers who bought the iPad within six months of its debut, only 14 percent pushed aside plans to buy a PC to buy the tablet. Come on guy, we all know that the high end computer sales always go to Apple.
Apple fans will always lay out two or three thousand for a Mac.

if they mean the pre-built pcs then it's maybe cuz more ppl lean to building their own custom ones, or cuz the older pcs are a bit more upgradable and future proof than before so ppl lean to upgrading till maxing out their pcs and buy other gadgets instead of new pcs.
