Hey I have Nero Burning Rom 6 but I don't know how to put the avi file on the cd so I can watch it on my PS2. Can anyone help me. I've been through TMPGEnc and tried to convert the file into VCD format so that I can burn it using Nero. Everytime it converts tho no picture comes up, just the sound. Even while it's converting (where's its suppose to show the video, the screen is just black) but it's still converting..get it? So When the file is done converting to mpg format, when I play it, it's nothing but a black screen with audio. It's pissin me off really. So can anyone pleease help me. Thanx!

you know what would piss you more ?
knowing that PS2 doesn't, can't and never will be able play VCD.

straight AVI is possible but needs a few files on the cd and a mod PS2.

for older PS2 DVD-R can be played also with a mod.

So how do I burn it str8 AVI. How do I burn the AVI file on to the Cd-r?

Simple as pie, just load up a burning program for example Nero burning rom: then choose data cd and put the AVI files in their and burn it.

You still will not be able to watch it in your PS2 unless you have a Mod Chip installed....
