Defraging xbox HDD

Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to defrag my xbox HDD. Is there a program i can get which does it on the xbox???

I haven't seen a defrag program yet. Why do you want to defrag the hd? What's the problem?

well everynow and then you defrag a pc hdd dont you? i just thought about moving so many files around, and putting backups on, would fragment files. and after a long period time, this would effect the xbox hdd dramatically.

Yeah, I suppose your right, but I've been using mine for ages (as well as tons of other people), and haven't had any issues with speed decrease (or any other hd related issues). It's definately not a bad idea. I'd probably defrag mine accasionally if such an app existed. But, till then, I wouldn't worry with it unless you run into a problem.
