The question is does Sony even care anymore? It seems like they've just given up at this point. Which is making me hate them more.

I bet s0ny cares a lot now but too little when it really mattered. I'm of the philosophy if you get hacked now a days, hackers will inject trojans or hacks to get in the back door now... Getting rid of the stuff the hackers may have put on the systems will be are very hard time consuming process

Why bother installing back doors in their servers? It is sony...you can just stroll in and out as it is. The only people they manage to keep out of their servers are legitimate users who happen to want OtherOS.

Alright, so I'm all for a swift ass kicking to teach a lesson and to instill change but LulzSec is now becoming a discourteous pain in the ass. Anyone that consistently defends these ONGOING attacks is no less a loser and no different from an arsenist.

@Oner...

If it is indeed a hoax, I say a gauntlet of 3rd graders armed with ping pong paddles to the nuts of the idiots parading the charade (sorry the rhyme), but I don't know code, so the source you supplied might as well have been Sanskrit for me. Then surround the whole story with conspiracy of the group trying to foil this one & you can see the conundrum brewing.

I fear this is going to have to be Sony's PR machine dispelling the myths again before we can all start believing/disbelieving anything. Granted, being an international company, they're doing a good job NOT leaking much information into other countries about this kind of breach.

It is starting to get a bit confusing with all the crap going on, on top of all the stuff with E3 going on...

So peoples information possible being compromised/stolen by hackers who were supposed to have the consumers backs is "funny"...SMH...it seems you got quite a good grasp of how things really are.

Well I for one think it is hilarious. We've been warning about Sony not caring about their customers for years.

Would you like a rootkit with your leaked information?

Just to remain topical (not like an ointment, so stop giggling) it will be like the Anon reply stated; the police propaganda "thinks" they have a "Bin Laden" or leader of the group and Anon is obviously going to claim the opposite.

Not only that, how much 'parading' the accused in the media without due process will cause a backlash of biblical proportions that would make a black hole suck like a pressure washer (think about it).

Sony feel good about it? I feel a little squishy to be honest. It's a little weird. I guess like a shart. You know, when you're in perfect health & then OH SHIT!!! Like that...

Mez has been ringing in on the forums heavily as well about this too. That article speaks quite heavily about how someone was actually reading through the chat dialogue and intercepted Anon's communiques.

Talk about civil liberties (as well as possibly genitalia) getting thrown into heavy machinery with multiple, rapidly moving, small blades.
