No supported files in Video_ts folder

I used DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 to rip a dvd. When I open the Video.ts folder there are no supported files listed. Below is what is in the folder.VTS_02_1 is a vob file and contains 209 mb but I get an error message when I try to load it to burn "invalid or unsupported file format"
I am using Win XP the dma is set correctly. I have a TDK DVDRW 880N

what program are you trying to burn with (dvd decrypter can only burn image files)?
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

I am using DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 , I thought it was designed to burn what it ripped? If I don't have an image file what went wrong. I was able to play the file from the hard drive using Roxio Player but I cant burn it with Roxio Easy CD and DVD creator 6

I am having the same problem. I too am getting a VIDEO_TS folder but when I try to select it through dvd decryptor and wont come up as a supported file. The only way I can get it to show up is if I select as "all files" but then the decryptor doesn't support that format. Same thing with trying to burn with COPYTODVD. Darn newbies huh ?

And if the DVD is larger than 4.36gb, as many store-bought DVDs are, then (step 1) use Decrypter to make an .iso file (NOT a video_ts folder full of files -- sounds like that's what you got -- but I'm not sure how you got them from Decrypter since, from what I understand, Decrypter only decrypts into an .iso file?), (step 2) use DVD Shrink to compress the .iso file so it will fit on a DVD-R or DVD+R disc, and (step 3) go back to Decrypter to burn the .iso file. If the DVD is <4.36gb, you won't need step 2 since you won't have to compress it.
Just thinking ... you CAN get the files you listed by using DVD Shrink ... is that what you used? If you get a video_ts folder full of files, you need to burn it with something besides Decrypter since Decrypter only does .iso file burns (as far as I know). You CAN burn a video_ts folder full of files using Nero or RecordNow and probably lots of other programs too.

To create video_ts folder
1) Open Decrypter
2) Click mode
3) Choose File F
To create ISO
1) Open Decrypter
2) Click mode
3) Choose ISO Read R
3) Choose ISO Write W (to burn) ... like veblin said :)
WilliamIV & jlg895 both need to create ISO's first.

Since nobody's mentioned it, I'll do it. DITCH Roxio and get Nero, you'll be much happier. I used to have Roxio and it doesn't come close to Nero(IMO).

I used TMPGENc DVD Author to create an ISO IMAGE FILE out of the files that DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 ripped.
I burnt it to a DVD+RW. The quality is the same as the original, the Digital (DTS), French English, and all subtitles and extras were copied perfectly and the menu works.
I do have Nero 6 but have not used it yet. I have always used Nero for all my burning needs. Roxio came with the Hardware and I thought I would see if there are any improvements. So far Nero and Roxio have no conflicts as they did on old systems.
No matter what I do DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 will not create an image file.

Are you sure about using a CD+RW? Cause I don't thing the quality would be any where near the same :)
(Editors note, I corrected my typo from CD+RW to DVD+RW, sorry for the confusion.
I ripped the files from an out of print NEW movie I bought on Amazon.com. I noticed the quality of the DVD was not as good as some others. I could not tell the difference in the copy from the "original" The packaging looked very professional, no indication that it was bootleg I was using my own movie with DVD+RW so as a test so I would not have any more DVD coasters. :)

Nero 5.5
I have to clarify a mistake I made I used TMPGENc DVD Author to create the ISO file before not Roxio. The file was associated with Roxio because Roxio is installed on my system. I find TMPGENc software excellent. I don't understand the comment one person made on here that TMPGENc was "Mickey Mouse"

Double check your settings in Shrink. When you click "backup!" you need to change the target destination to "ISO Image File"

This is what you said ... in the 12th post. Turns out you were using a DVDRW instead of a CDRW. Big difference... using a CDRW will give you errors. And every process you've mentioned seems more complicated to me... Did you check out any guides?

Sorry for the confusion. This is what happens when you get too close to an issue without proper breaks. Also this is the first week I have been burning DVDs my mind is still in a CD+RW world. :) I edited my posts but too late. I was seeing and thinking DVD+RW but actually writing CD+RW!

Thanks for the advice on Shrink. Shrink ripped the movie and I burned it with Nero 6.3.0.3 Ultra successfully.
Yes I have printed out several guides but they are not always clear, (except to the person who wrote them!). One was wrong. I had to change the audio sampling from the advised 48000 to 44100 in TMPGENc. Using the 48000 setting I could not get sound.
Now DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 has several options on the toolbar.Under "Mode" there is "File F" "IFO I" and IS0/Read-Write. I clicked on the "IS0" first to read then write. I was told to click on the "File F" first I tried that it did not work.I just tried for the 5th time to make an ISO file with DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0 and failed. Is there some function under "tools" that need to be adjusted? I have everything set at default.
Too bad that Decrypter does not have a simple straightforward function to set ISO files the way Shrink does.
Thanks for the help. I know how frustrating it is for someone that knows a subject and tries to teach it without much success. Sometimes you forget that just because YOU understand what you are saying, no one else does because they don't have anything to relate it to.
It would be nice to have just one software that does it all without having to bridge the gap with one or more additional pieces of software.
