Truly weird-Sony DRU530

I was trying to get my Sony DRU530A to read my DVD+Rs, so I updated its firmware to 2.1a. Ever since I did that, it stopped recording at 4x. I use Nero 6 to record, but it stays at 1x.

Any body can give me a clue?

Try re-installing Nero. This worked for another member recently. Also where did you get your new firmware? Was it from Sony??

I didn't mean anything bad by asking if the firmware was from sony. I think it's actually better to get it from the manufacturer. Some try to use hack firmware and flash their drives. And if its done wrong acutally ruin their drive.
