Hiring folks like Black Water might get you more than you bargained for and then on the flip side, do you 'really' want to put your life in the hands of an individual who was the lowest bidder?

There are many militia's besides Black Water willing do do the bidding of another. Google could always insert a Defense Policy in these Backwater Countries...but then Google would be the one that gets full blame should a firefight incur with said Brainless troops of XYZ Dictator.

Now, now DXR88, don't start getting wormy... I'm well aware there are more security contractors than 'just' Blackwater (I've been misspelling it too) I was just mentioning them because they're high profile. I don't have a contract with them, nor am I paid to do their advertising. I'm just not interested in finding all the obscure names of the groups mentioned in Soldier of Fortune that most folks wouldn't have a clue about anyway.

And yes, that was my point. Hiring (basically mercenaries) garners a whirlwind of different labels onto your company, personnel & person when all you're trying to do is cover your butt. Not to mention, you'll somehow be held responsible for their actions when something goes wrong. Even though you're not the security expert. Something Google definitely doesn't want a taste of right now.

I wouldn't want to be in any of their shoes at the moment either.
