I think that would be a logical direction seeing the big 2 has had i-phone for a while now. Me being a Sprint customer, would be intrigued by the new I-phone. However, I can wait for a while after the mayhem of the roll-out.

NOOOOOOOOOOO! Damn it all Deutsche Telekom! Now all these Apple fanboys gunna be bogging down MAH network!
Not quite in that way, but that is my concern with this merger. AT&T is only doing it to piggy-back T-mobile's existing towers and network. Granted the merge would give them the collective "best," I'm almost positive AT&T's overcrowded customer base is going to murder the speeds I can barely enjoy as is.
This also gives AT&T almost total monopoly over all the GSM market of the US. I just can't see how that would be good, and I can't understand how it's even being considered.
