A KGB officer (only ex-KGB because the KGB changed names) wants to control the ideas that people are exposed to...that is all that needs to be said about internet censorship, or censorship in general for that matter.

I'm surprised that this wasn't done by them long time ago like China has done. They will have a lot of work ahead of them as file shares and porn are extremely big in Russia it will be interesting to see what comes out with this?
