ive tried splitting this dvd to 2 discs, but it wont work!!! i read somewhere on this board that maybe its because the dvd doesnt have chapters and is just one long movie!!! is this right????

Worked for me
It does have chapters but no chapter pointers (I'm making up the terminology here) so you can't jump to chapters you have to watch the whole thing.

If you rip it then strip it using IFOedit to one folder, then split it using IFOedit to two discs you should be fine.

Why split it to 2 DVD's. Why not rempeg to fit on 1 DVD (just finished mine). No probs. plenty of guides about this (doom9.net)
