Well... that's what should be happening anyway.
He meant more memory than it usually does. I get the same problem with Chrome. I use the web a _lot_ and as you can imagine, with news hunting and stuff I often have dozens of tabs open. Memory does become a problem in both Firefox and Chrome after a long period of time. He said overnight.. and I can definitely agree that can be a problem.... return to Desk and the browser has turned into one giant memory hog and the only way to stop it is to kill the browser entirely. Simply closing tabs just won't do it.

What the hell is Firefox 7? Yesterday the word was they wanted to get rid of version numbers. Does not compute!

I'm beta testing Firefox 8 "Nightly" now. Well worth it and running flawlessly so far as a true 64-bit browser. Forget 7 "Aurora". Only 3 add-ons aren't compatible with 8 yet but everything else is slicker and faster.
