UK regulator slaps providers for incorrectly billing customers. TalkTalk and Tiscali UK were fined a total of £3 million after they incorrectly billed tens of thousands of their customers for services they never received. Basically the equivalent of $5 million US in penalties? What a joke. It's a slap on the wrist & nothing more. Not to mention the fact that if Ofcom could afford the 2.5 million pounds to keep people at bay, what's a flimsy 3 million?

No... I don't think anyone has learned a lesson of any some sort. With the economy just getting worse I believe there are going to be more & more BS stunts like this pulled all over the globe. And it's just going to get worse because several of these jokers haven't been caught yet.
