Really?! Facebook tracks your internet activity?! Who woulda guessed... What's next, Google tracks you too?

Seriously though, this isn't the privacy czar's place to ban it. It should be their place to warn about it and allow the user to decide if they want to help the realization of 1982 or not.

Doesnt expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected and therefore mean youre expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

Glad I don't live in Germany. I guess I'm safe anyways, considering I don't have a Facebook.

"Really what a stupid comment!" You call a, albeit not quite justified, comment 'stupid,' then proceed to rail against a country that was even mentioned. Are you bitter or a troll? Then again, I guess that's a stupid question. After all, the two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

EDIT- Typo

O by the way to state facts about a country is not in my oipininion "railing" against a country as you so quaintly put it but rather an obsavation which I believe to be fairly accurate !

Really? Because it's 'soooo obvious' to you. Believe it or not, such comments aren't characteristically American, only in the minds of those that want it to be (those spiteful for example). Many nationalities would make such a comment, not just American. Also, you gave no facts, just threw out a bunch of nouns. Lastly, I say railing because you have nothing to base it as an American comment but jump straight to that attacking it.

I wondered about that (what nationality) but it wasn't in your profile here and I wasn't about to make assumptions. You Canadians and trying to make the U.S. look bad. That is a joke by the way, to those that don't catch it...
