Tampa Bay Buccaneers (of the NFL) coach Raheem Morris has confirmed today that his entire team has been issued iPad 2 tablets, moving away from paper playbooks.
The 90 players on the team have been informed to bring their new iPads to all practices and games instead of their older 500 page paper playbooks.

^^Why is anyone scared of this? Remote wipe has been available for corporate and consumer tablets and smartphones for years. OBVIOUSLY, a company giving tablets to employees need to employ the ability to wipe them.

if you want apple to wipe off your paid products later on because they don't like the company.....or apple wipe off some things off your phone cos they don't approve of it....
the fact that they can remotely wipe also means they could also snoop too.

This isn't the hardware manufacturer wiping the data, this is your employer. If they provided the tablet for an employee then they have every right to protect their data.
