I for one welcome the new changes. Windows has needed an overhaul/update to its interface for years now in my opinion. Time will tell how practical its execution is though.

Fargin' HATE the 'ribbon interfaces' they started w/ Office 2007. Maybe that's why Bill Gates resigned...he hated it too. :-) I only care that they finally get Explorer to quit unexpectedly crashing.

I hate the ribbon interfaces also. Ever since this so called "upgrade" i have struggled to figure out how to do simple shit in Office products. So much MEH in Windows.

Ok, its official: Windows 8 is going to suck bad. What a horrible idea. It's painful enough to use this in Office (thats why I still use 2003 on my home machine) now in Explorer too? Wow. Fortunately there's http://sourceforge.net/projects/classicshell/ to help us out. I use that in 7, hopefully they'll make a version for 8 too.

For me this is the first bit of good news I have seen on windows 8. I definitely like the built in ISO support.
