Samsung goes on the attack, may seek to ban iPhone 5 in South Korea

article published on 19 September, 2011

Recent lawsuits filed by Samsung against Apple may be a sign of a new strategy for defending their smartphone and tablet business based on recent comments. Beseiged by lawsuits from Apple around the globe, Samsung filed a lawsuit of their own last week in France. The suit alleges violations of 3G related patents. They also filed a countersuit in Australia, on similar grounds, as a ... [ read the full article ]

Lol, Apple's pissed in its own breakfast. Jobs' investment decisions aside, this company makes the worst choices. They're quickly burning their bridges, even with the crApple fanboys. I can't believe they're pulling that junk in the App Store about purchases straight from developers.

As it's said in the sticks where in grew up, "You don't crap where you eat..."

In this particular case I'm not 100% sure which came first in this Chicken or Egg story; meaning, that I know for a fact that corporations & people of wealth DON'T use their own money for much of anything other than for things that they wish to keep.

Research & development, labor forces, raw materials, shelf companies and the lives of anyone that they deem as ineffectual to their financial stability are to be placed on someone else's 'accounts payable'.

All that being said, most if not all of Apple's technology is owned by Samsung in some form or fashion. To what degree has been previously hinted to & frankly, I'm not interested. What I do find intriguing & contradictive that it's hinted that not only did the German's not see this, but they still allowed the lawsuit. Possibly under the hospices of erring under the guise of being 'right' & thorough, but the time to clear things up would certainly be long enough to put a major dent in Samsung sales.

This situation smacks of the beginning of the same situation when Motorola decided to snuff out the RISC processor & Apple turned to Intel for it's replacement. The whole small global 'bang' of Apple clones & the like for a while was a nice touch (although I may be 'moshing' my time periods in a bit).

Like Windows, since it's inception, I had always pictured Apple as a choice of operating systems, not a freaking life changing, manipulating force IN my life. I think Samsung is saying the same thing.

LordRuss, I typically find your comments thoughful and clever. Please do not take my comment as critical. I am simply bringing to the forefront a comical mishap at your expense. I generally don't point out flaws in grammar but this was ripe for the picking. Sorry. ---Chikn

Fight fire with fire I say. I hope other companies such as Google join in the fight against Apple, and put an end to this nonsense once and for all. I for one am sick and tired of Apple's lawsuit tactics.

How Stalinistic..........but YEAH! Stick it to Apple. I guess it'll be no different than the USA banning Cuban cigars.
