On October 2 Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.9 will hit the shelves of US retailers. It will be priced at $469 for 16GB of memory or 32GB for $569. It features an 8.9" Gorilla Glass display with a resolution of 1280x800. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core T250S processor. It can handle up to a 32GB microSD card and also has a USB 2.0 port. Really?! 2 and 3 MP cameras? I've said it countless times, but I just can not understand. If you're going to put a camera in a modern device, make it capable; this makes the device's resolution absolutely useless for content created by itself...

So far the Kindle Fire seems to be best bang to buck ratio... I gonna wait to see what tech comes out next year.

I would settle for a camera that takes good quality 3MP pics...my new android has an 8MP camera...but you have to scale them back to less than 1MP for them to look decent.

I have to agree tho...one the Kindle fire is rooted and all the Amazon BS is removed from it, it will be the best tablet value.

I know you're more knowledgeable than I in many respects, and I'm sure that's somehow true. But every picture I see by any camera that's less than about 5MP is just grainy and generally colored badly, with lighting usually distorted. Just personal experience though, I've never actually looked in to all the camera tech in these things.
