Wow is Apple ever slow, there Apple Tv redesign or Apple Tv 2 should have had this upgrade. It should also support the ability to stream other content in almost any format without having to load XBMC on it or "mod" it. We all know Apple and that ain't ever gonna happen. What a shame there sort of digging there own grave on that when less tech savvy people will buy something that will support almost all media files out of the box.

Steve is dead...now the company can actually start making good products; they have the engineers and the patents, plus a huge fanbase that practically guarantee sales even when they take risks...all they need is some good management to let the engineers stretch their legs and stop getting in the way of good 3rd party support.

Are you saying that apple might change its business model and be open to third party support like android? I highly doubt that. Apple is a boutique manufacturer for the masses, I don't think they'll change that.
