According to research firms Gartner and IDC, HP remains the top PC company but for the first time ever Lenovo has moved into second, surpassing Dell. HP controls 17.7 percent share of PC shipments, up from 17.3 percent last year, says Gartner. IDC has similar numbers, with HP at 18.1 percent. All of this news is nice, but what will be interesting is the amount of sales for PCs once the Christmas Season is over with. Then the numbers that come out will be very interesting indeed.
