Assange has a point, if people want to pay for Wikileaks server to maintain, that should be up to them. It's not unlawful to keep a server running. Whatever would US do if he ended up winning a lottery; oh wait, they prolly banned him on even buying him a ticket on the chance his luck proves true.

This is because the governments of the world have taken measures to prevent them from using the same servers as everyone else, combined with the fact that they are being very responsible and making sure not to release anything that actually should be classified, combined with the fact that governments and corporations are blocking people from giving them donations. Given this, it seems like their only recourse should be to release everything they have without checking it...by torrent. If the corporations and the governments they control won't let them operate any other way, they deserve what they get.

I agree with killerbug everything should be released and the world be allowed to judge the actions of there governments

You'd have to be careful about that.
Would you want all your drivers lic and medical data and social security details out on the net freely?

IF it is the only way to expose the crimes of those in power, so be it.
Most of the documents they have yet to publish are long, drawn out documents that contain potential "national security" issues...but these documents are so old that any secrets that could actually be used by enemies are expired anyway. Anyway, the greatest enemies of my country already know all those secrets...they are their secrets to begin with.
