Construction workers at the site say the retail store will not be open in time for Black Friday.

It won't be any time too soon. We still have a lot to do, so my guess is that it will be ready in December.

Woo hoo...another place to sell insultingly over priced, crippled, feature-lacking computers, tablets, and phones in a "fashionable" store. Like I tell all my friends and those I truly care about: beware of any product that starts with an "i".
Edit: Oh, and this was written by a former Macbook user. 2 months ago I bought a Lenovo laptop that runs circles around my friend's Macbook Pro that he got a few months ago too. And it has something that apprently Apple has never heard of: BLU-RAY! Man, for a "trendy" company, Apple really missed the boat on that one...

Actually Apple supported bluray in the beginning. They realized that that incorporating bluray into their products could affect itunes sales. There supporting digital media instead, eventually they most likely will overtake bluray and have the dominant format. Still, its too bad HD DVD was bought out by sony..
