Amazon has announced the one day promotion for December 10th. In an effort to bring awareness to their mobile app, Amazon is offering consumers up to $5 worth of free credit if they compare a product in-store and decide instead to buy it from the e-tailer. I have to go to the store to buy from Amazon? Who thought that up? I am a loyal Amazon customer and they want me to go to Best Buy?

It would cost me $5 just to go to the store and get back home. I might as well come home with what I want and use it immediately. Maybe if they were offering like 50% off or something it would be worth it... after all it's only going on for one day. Make it worth my while Amazon.

Amazon you already loose to Best Buy on Hard Drive prices, so we know that's a crock. The difference is, best buy has inventory of hard drives so they can sell them lower than post natural disaster and still make profit.

Amazon, you get them from supplier "on demand" and the prices of hard drive have risen 50%-60% after the floods/hurricanes
