ICE: Oops, sorry for taking down Dajaz1.com

article published on 9 December, 2011

Earlier in the year, ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) took down the popular hip-hop music blog Dajaz1.com, claiming it was a "rogue site" and guilty of copyright infringement. The domain seizure was notable because the owner came out in full force defending the blog, even sending the New York Times emails that document how most of the "infringing" tracks made it to his site - ... [ read the full article ]

Why not just remove the "Immigration" part of ice and rename it to RIAA lackeys? Ice is a joke under this administration, seriously!

As much as ICE's bullshit with Operation In Our Sites is unjustified to begin with, you got to give them Credit on this one, they knew they had messed up big time and returned the Domain name...but what Pisses me off is the RIAA is all like"We don't care if Artists and Labels gave you the tracks legally, your a Pirate in our eyes"....this is why SOPA DOES NOT WORK!.

Scary...Mob tactics with government backing. This is the RIAA saying if you don't get your music from us, you don't get it at all. All nice and "legal," no due process, as the government sealed the files. What will happen when the average citizen can be singled out and treated the same way as an "infringing" website?
My bad, I forgot they can already do that if they label you a suspected terrorist.

They can hold you for life without trial or charges if you are a suspected terrorist...your website(s) will be the least of your concern as you are being tortured by some sadist simply because you voiced your opinion that the constitution is a good thing and maybe we shouldn't make laws that violate it.
