I really hate these kill switches...I can understand them to a point, but I make it a point to backup the program, uninstall it, and sideload it to prevent the use of the killswitch. I wonder if this will be possible with Windows 8?

Yeah sideloading won't be possible if Microsoft can figure out how to stop it. From the luck the rest of the app stores have had though I'd say lucky for us they don't for long...lol
