he could appoint the Pope to this division and MS still won't have a hope and a prayer at competing with Apple or Android. MS should seriously bite the bullet and pack it up.

Windows phone wasn't that bad for when I tried it out. Very responsive and quick. All it needs is more apps and maybe a microsoft flagship phone. No one ever though Apple would be dethroned in market share but it happened. Who knows maybe 5 years from now windows phone could dethrone Android.

Microsoft market share has been climbing...slow , but still increasing. About six months ago I would agree with you, but I'm not so sure now.
