Hell they should've named it the Optimus Prime tablet if they really wanted to piss them off.

Hell, just throw an Autobot symbol on it and pay them royalties. It's pretty obvious they took the name from them anyway. No way they are gonna get to keep the name otherwise.

Is Asus seriously saying they won't change the name as
"internal assessments conducted by the company found no patent infringement issues"
??????

Or when 4sus says: "internal assessments conducted by the company found no patent infringement issues"... I'm thinking 4sus consider Hasbro is a toy company for kids, the company is weak and powerless to do anything.

Hasbro should pay ASUS to come up with a whole line of Transformer tablets, Bumblebee for multimedia, Ironhide, ruggedized, Jazz with a Poltiac Soltice tie in and Optimus Prime, top of the line. Give them a nice paint job and boost sales for everyone and give us better looking tablets.
Too many companies run to the lawyers instead of looking at these things as an oppertunity to improve products and their profits.

Patent issues? Nope, not a one. There isn't a Transformer issue or part one in these tablets I can assure you guys.
Trademark infringements from hell!!! Oh, now we're talking! Putting those two words together left absolutely no doubt in my mind that I thought there was some form of 80s iconic tie in.
I mean I certainly didn't have a 5 star cut of beef, medium rare served on a pre-heated plate with a twice baked potato on the side in mind when I saw the name of the device in mind.
