Last week we told you about an anonymous source, supposedly from inside RIM, who claimed the delayed launch of the upcoming BlackBerry 10 line of devices was largely the result of unfinished software.

RIM can boast all it wants about specs and features, but it doesn't solve the core of their problem: No one wants a Blackberry. They don't even give the specs a second look. All they know is that its not an Android or Apple and move on. If RIM wants to have any hope of survivng they'll jump ship to Android or come up with a very clever marketing campaign to get people interested in their phones again.
RIM really can't boast about specs and features...not without spouting lies.
They have BBM...great, but so will Android and iOS by the time BB10 is released...and anyway, it is now clear that Gmail is both more stable and more secure anyhow.
They have a dual-core CPU...WOW...that would have really been great about 8 months ago. By the time they release this thing, quad core chips will be commonplace in new devices.
They [HOPE] to get good battery life. Isn't that a special feature? I mean, here my Sensation 4G only goes about 20 hours on a charge. Then again, I only go about 17 hours on a charge and we both charge at the same time. Want longer battery life? Why not try putting in a bigger battery? I know it is crazy, but it just might work. It isn't like BB devices are slim or anything to begin with.
