Orangutans at the Milwaukee County Zoo have apparently been using iPads since May and could eventually use the tablets to video-call other apes at other zoos.
Conservationist Richard Zimmerman of the charity Orangutan Outreach says the next step is to give the tablets Wi-Fi access, allowing the apes to watch their primate buddies in other zoos.

If you just want to screw around with your iPad, there an ape for that lol.
Wounder what would happen if the ape goes to a dirty website (apes gone wild, dirty zoo network, barely legal apes, the list goes on lol)?

i think its good.people look at animals like orangutans and think stupid smelly primative animals and people dont take the time to test there potential.

DUDE! I agree but Apes rescuing humans doesn't sell that well though. '
As for jokes there is something funny about poo flingers playing with an ipad and possibly flinging an Angry Bird. I base this humor on a study I read recently that came to the hypothesis that the smartest apes flung the most poo. Having trouble coming up with the setup and punchline though. But there's the material. Angry Turds? Nah that aint it.
