hey guys i was just wondering which dvd+r is better between dvd+R and the dvd+rw and if someone could tell me what they mean by the rw part thanks and whats the difference between dvd+R and dvd-r thanks

The difference between +r and +rw is that +rw can be used over and over again by formatting the disc. This may sound good but they are a lot less compatible for playing movies. For data use +rws are very usefull but the write once +rs are more compatible with set top dvd players for backing up movies.

+r and -r are both write once and are both very compatible with a wide variaty of dvd players. They are just different formats and it is pretty much prefernce on which one you would like to use. Almost all dvd burners out now can burn all formats so just make sure if your backing up movies to see if +r or -r works in your player.
