Press shots of the upcoming Vizio computers

article published on 8 January, 2012

We reported earlier that Vizio plans to disrupt the PC market, with a new line of ultrabooks and all-in-ones. The company has released press shots of the computers, but a full announcement is coming at CES, hopefully with more details on the specs. Original story: Vizio, which quietly took over the U.S. HDTV market with its low-priced offerings, has plans to do the same to the PC market. ... [ read the full article ]

Well... Like I've probably said before. Take a dog turd, paint it candy apple red, cover it in 400 layers of lacquer, put an extra 1000 hours with 2K grit sand paper wet sanding it to a seamless & flawless lined torpedo with a shine that when shown in the sun would blind even god him/herself... facts still remain its still a piece of shit deep down inside.

Their stuff has a great tendency to look great & out of the box seemingly work up to par with a lot of the lower/MOR end established name brands. But once you get some road miles on this stuff & the warranty is definitely done & over (including the [I bought the extended]), this stuff breaks down for good. I've seen it happen. And it doesn't give you much of a lead up to it either.

One day it says, "Hey, I'm not going to read your DVDs anymore." The next day or two... it doesn't read anything, including the wall outlet. Food for thought.

HOLY SH*T! Couldn't agree more.

While I have respect for Vizio having mustered up competition in the LCD marketplace and contributing to the lowering of prices, their merchandise is subpar quality at best, not long lasting and can't compete with the likes of Samsung or Sony, etc. I don't know anyone except poor black people, Mexicans and white trash that own a Vizio.

Frankly, sometimes you truly do "get what you pay for"

Now......as for Vizio going to the PC market. WTF is that???

"Hmmm......we make tolerably decent televisions so let's try to make complex PC hardware too". I'm sorry but if it walks like a duck and quacks like one then it's a damn duck and not a chicken or a moose or an otter!

Trouble is, I've seen some one legged ducks, one eyed ducks, one winged ducks, you get the picture... And as you can probably guess, in the whole world of schemes, they didn't last too long either.

I am none of these. Take your vile hate spewing ignorance back to the Stormfront boards.

Someone told me once that theres a right and wrong, and that punishment would come to those
who dare to cross the line.
But it must not be true for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole.
