AT&T has expanded its wireless data plans, adding new options for smartphone users.
As of January 22nd, AT&T will offer a new 300MB plan for $20 per month, a 3GB plan for $30 and a 5GB plan for $50. The current plans are $15 for 200MB and $25 for 2GB.

$30 for unlimited was a great value, why don't you bring that back? Oh thats right your network can't handle it and it would cost you money to make it handle it
ATT LOSERS!..............Thanks a lot for the generous incremental offer of upping the data from 15/200MB and 25/2GB to 20/300MB (still virtually useless) and 30/3GB.
I'll keep my Tmobile unlimited talk/text and data with 2GB of high speed, supposedly, for 59.99. Went over a couple months ago and the speed didn't drop enough to prevent streaming of internet audio.
Value? They dropped the amount of available download considerably & raised the price to a virtual extortion rate by today's standards. Yeah, it's greed alright. A big portion of it has to do with broadcasting rights (yes I said 'broadcasting' right) as cellular providers are starting to pitch sporting events & more entertainment value on people's phones.
You don't think that's gonna cause a huge flux in data usage? In metropolitan areas where a guy can open up a wifi connection you can supersede a bunch of that, but everywhere else... get ready for the gangland BFing stories.
